Week 1 (Sep1 - Sep 4)
Tuesday
In class = Students will be welcomed to the new school year and introduced to Islamic Studies. They will discuss the importance of learning about Allah ﷻ, the Qur’an, and good character. Classroom rules, expectations, and participation will also be discussed.
Students should bring an Islamic Studies textbook, workbook 1, and a notebook specifically for Islamic Studies.
No homework.
Wednesday
In class =Students will review and discuss Allah ﷻ as our Great Creator. They will learn about some of Allah’s creations and recognize His power, wisdom, and blessings. Students will also discuss how we can show gratitude to Allah ﷻ by worshipping Him and taking care of His creation.
Students will review Islamic Studies classroom rules, respectful behaviour, participation, and being prepared for class.
No homework.
Thursday
In class = Students will explore the amazing creations of Allah ﷻ and learn that everything around us is created by Him. They will identify examples from nature and discuss how these creations show Allah’s power and greatness. Students will also learn simple ways to show shukr (gratitude) to Allah ﷻ.
Activity:
Students will draw or name one creation of Allah ﷻ and share one thing they are thankful for.

Week 2 (Sep 7- Sep 11)
Tuesday
In class = Students will continue learning about Allah ﷻ, Our Great Creator. They will review the meaning of Creator and learn that Allah ﷻ is the Only Creator. Students will identify examples of Allah’s creations and discuss how everything around us is created by Allah ﷻ.

Wednesday
In class = Students will continue exploring the beautiful creations of Allah ﷻ. They will review examples of Allah’s creation and strengthen their understanding that everything we see is created by Allah ﷻ. Students will participate in class discussion and activities related to the lesson.

Thursday
In class = Students will review the main ideas from Allah, Our Great Creator. They will practice identifying Allah’s creations and explaining why Allah ﷻ is the Only Creator. Students will complete classwork from Unit 1, Chapter 1.

Week 3 (Sep 14- Sep 18)
Tuesday
In class = Students will continue learning about Allah, Our Great Creator. They will review the idea that Allah ﷻ is the only Creator and identify different examples of Allah’s creation. Students will participate in simple class discussions and activities to reinforce their understanding.
Wednesday
In class = Students will complete exercises and activities related to Allah, Our Great Creator. They will review the lesson and practice identifying things created by Allah ﷻ.
Thursday
Students will continue reviewing the lesson through interactive activities, questions, and worksheet exercises to strengthen their understanding.
