Alys has had many memorable moments at GFC, but the one that sticks out most to her is watching the Central football team win the State Championship her senior year. "I grew up with those guys and was so proud of them for how hard they worked and how well they represented our school." When asked about her experience at Central, she says that it's the people and relationships she remembers. "Looking back on my time in high school it’s the teachers and coaches that stand out to me. I didn’t fully realize at the time just how many high quality individuals we had coaching and guiding us through our sports seasons as well as life. It made playing for them so easy and I feel so grateful for all the time and energy they poured into us.”

Alys states that she couldn’t have done anything without the support of her parents and brothers. “They helped me become who I am and I am blessed by them.”  Alys is currently living in Nebraska and attending a Master’s of Physicians Assistance Studies program there. “I love the school I attend and enjoy applying all that I have learned through sports and in life to learning medicine.”  Alys isn’t sure where she will work after school, but hopes to be able to combine her PA degree and love of athletics.
