Membership in the Athletic Hall of Fame consists of athletic letter winners, coaches, and those who have made exceptional contributions in the field of athletics.

To be considered. an athletic letter winner shall be documented in Grand Forks Central athletic records and be a graduate of Grand Forks Central. A period of ten (10) years must have elapsed since the nominee last participated in athletics at Grand Forks Central.

Coaches will be considered after five (5) years have elapsed following active coaching service at Grand Forks Central. Coaches are considered on the basis of leadership, length, and quality of coaching record, program growth, and achievement of the individual after leaving coaching service.

A special Hall of Fame category is reserved for those people who have made significant contributions to athletics in general, but who were not singled out as outstanding during their careers at Grand Forks Central. Outstanding accomplishments after leaving Grand Forks Central will also be considered in making selections.
