Welcome to my collection of teaching materials inspired by real experiences in the classroom! My name is Jovel Morbos Capitle, and I currently teach English and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to Grades 2–6 at Tai Ping Elementary School in Puxin Township, Taiwan. Surrounded by our school’s Great Banyan Tree, lush vegetable gardens, and a culture of environmental awareness, I’ve had the opportunity to integrate global issues into everyday lessons that are fun, hands-on, and meaningful for young learners.

Teaching SDGs in Tai Ping has been a journey of creativity and connection. From shadow plays and storytelling to crafts, songs, and outdoor learning, my students engage with complex ideas like clean water, responsible consumption, and climate action in ways they can understand and enjoy. I design these activities with simple vocabulary and strong visuals to support my students—and I’ve seen firsthand how they grow in confidence and compassion as global citizens.

I created this website to share the materials, lesson plans, and activities that have worked for me and my students. Whether you're teaching in a public school in the Philippines, a rural classroom, or an ESL setting like mine, I hope you’ll find something here that fits your needs. You’re welcome to use, adapt, and improve these resources—let’s work together to make SDG education accessible, engaging, and empowering for every child.
