Summer camp is always a fun and exciting time for the students, and one of the things we enjoy most is learning about different cultures around the world. We explore traditions, languages, food, and celebrations from various countries, helping students become more curious and open-minded about the world. They love discovering the similarities and differences between cultures, and it sparks great conversations and questions during our activities.
One of the highlights was when we cooked lumpia, a popular Filipino spring roll. The students had so much fun preparing the ingredients, rolling the wrappers, and of course, tasting the final product! Cooking together made the learning experience even more special and memorable. Through this cultural exchange, the students not only learn about global traditions but also develop respect and appreciation for diversity in a fun and hands-on way.
