I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education major Speech and Theater Arts from the Philippine Normal University – Manila, the country’s National Center for Teacher Education. I graduated in 2017, and since then, I’ve been dedicated to helping students find their voice, confidence, and joy in learning—whether through English lessons, storytelling, or drama-based activities.
My background in theater has shaped the way I teach, making learning more interactive, expressive, and student-centered. I believe in the power of stories, performance, and connection to make lessons come alive, especially for young learners and language students. Through the years, I’ve taught in both public and private schools in the Philippines and now continue my journey as an elementary English teacher in Taiwan, where I integrate SDGs, creativity, and communication in the classroom every day.
Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Literacy Education to deepen my understanding of how students develop reading and writing skills. This advanced training helps me create more effective and engaging lessons that support literacy growth for all learners. I’m excited to apply what I learn to empower my students and contribute to the field of education.
