English Corner is a weekly English-speaking activity held every Tuesday at our school. Each week, one class is invited to join and participate in fun and interactive English tasks. This special session provides students with a chance to practice their speaking, reading, and listening skills outside of the regular classroom setting. It is a relaxed and friendly environment where students can enjoy learning English through stories, games, and conversation.
One of the highlights of the English Corner is storytime. Students listen to or read engaging storybooks, which help them build vocabulary and improve their comprehension skills. After the story, students complete their English passports by answering simple questions related to the book or activity. These passports serve as a record of their participation and progress, and they motivate students to take part and try their best.
English Corner encourages every student to speak and participate actively. Whether it’s repeating sentences, sharing answers, or joining games, each student is given a chance to use English in a meaningful and enjoyable way. The goal is to build their confidence and help them see that learning English can be fun and exciting. Through this weekly activity, students not only improve their language skills but also develop a positive attitude toward using English in daily life.
