The recent Republican tax plan has caused a lot of controversy as it has been interpreted to support middle class families but at the same time reduce taxes for big corporations.

Democrats

Democrats have attacked President Trump's and the Republican's proposed tax plan over the past year. They claim that it will benefit wealthy corporations and wealthy Americans and hurt the lower classes. In addition to these claims, Democrats say that the Republicans have only revealed or created false information so they can will attract the most support and once the plan passes they will then unveil the entire plan.

Republicans

Republicans state that the new tax plan, which is supported by President Trump, will reduce the amount of confusion that affects many, if not most, Americans in addition to lowering tax rates. Working class families will see an increased benefit from this plan as it allows for larger child tax credit. Republicans claim that corporate taxes will be reduced as an incentive for them to come to the United States and stay in the United States allowing for the creation and longevity of jobs.
