Abortion-

the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks.

Democratic Views- "Pro-Choice" The Democratic party believes that women should have the choice on whether or not to abort their pregnancy. The Democratic party strongly opposes any efforts or legislation that may oppose to abortion, stating, “abortion is an intensely personal decision between a woman, her family, her doctor, and her clergy; there is no place for politicians or government to get in the way.”

Republican Views- "Pro-Life" The Republican party views are set firmly on that an unborn child, like any other individual, has the right to live. This party adamantly believes that rights of every American in the 14th amendment applies to unborn children as well.

The graph shown to the left is taken from a poll where people were asked if they were pro-life or pro-choice in terms of abortion.
