Gun Control

Gun Control - is the set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms by civilians

Republican Views- Republicans believe Americans should have the right to own, carry, and use guns. This stems from the view that the constitution is to be interpreted as when it was written. The ability to own guns is an undeniable right in the Constitution as " the right to bear arms." They believe the government regulation of guns is unconstitutional and it should be up to the states on how they regulate who carries guns.

Democratic Views - Democrats believe that there needs to be stricter gun laws in the United States in order to keep people safer in schools. They mainly are looking for more regulation of the sell of assault weapons. Too many people have suffered from gun violence due to the lack of regulations and background checks.
