Creating engaging presentations doesn't have to be an onerous task. If you have decided to use images, videos or online content to supplement your presentation, there are a number of different platforms that can help you achieve this easily. Below are a range of example platforms and tools you can use to deliver your presentation differently.
Remember; selecting the appropriate platform is the final step after you have decided what you want to achieve within your teaching sessions and how your presentations need to be refreshed.
Adobe Spark is a free online tool that allows you to create videos from pictures and inserted text, webpages and blogs. It is free to use with your SHU Google account (username@my.shu.ac.uk).
Prezi is an online presentation tool that allows you to create a journey and motion to guide the audience through your presentation. You can upload images, pdfs, create text, embed video.
Be careful not to go overboard on the motion though: it has been known to induce motion sickness!
