Apps Anywhere

This is a web based resource that gives you access to additional software you can use to support planning, teaching and learning.

It is currently only available on SHU owned and managed computers that are connected to the SHU wired network, TSS wireless network, or the staff VPN network.

To access AppsAnywhere from your computer, locate and click on it's icon on your desktop or access it via the 'All Programs' menu. A list of available software will then be displayed.

A search feature can be used to locate a piece of software and clicking on 'more info' on a specific item will show further details about each application.

Use the 'Launch' option to run and use the software you require.

When a product is selected a process known as cloudpaging is used to download and run your application. A window appears to show the progress of the cloudpaging activity and once complete you will be able to launch the software.
