Flat Stanley

Summary

We loved reading "Flat Stanley" as a class! The class read the first "Flat Stanley" book. Then after each chapter, completed a chapter comprehension review. This is my second year using this project. I gave us more time to read the book "Flat Stanley" and complete the chapter comprehension pages. When we were done reading the whole book, students each created a Bitmoji that looked like them (with my help). They printed three of their "flat selves" and took them home. With their parents' help, they sent their flat selves around the world with a little reflection for the recipient to fill out about where they visited. This was a great project that involved families and had a lot of interaction with people all over the world!
