Project as a whole

This was my second year doing this project and projects in general. I felt much more comfortable with the project this time around, and it felt like it was developed much more authentically this time around. Students have been doing this project for a couple of years by the time they reach my class, so it is fun hearing what they have done in the past, but it also makes it challenging to find something that is still new and exciting to them to keep their interest. This year we did a review on some of the things (seeds and pumpkin parts) while also incorporating new elements that we were learning in class (base ten system).
