The Atwater Falcon Colorguard is comprised of talented performers who take time outside of the school day to perfect their art. Their training begins during the summer and continues throughout the fall season. Our Falcon Colorguard has a long and strong habit of holding excellence and is highly referred to as one of the most competitive groups in our category.
The Atwater Winterguard is a continuation of our colorguard program during the winter season. Instead of performing on the street, they will perform on the gym floor. Membership isn't restricted so individuals from the band program are able to partake and gain experience from the activity. Our Winterguard is deeply dedicated and is highly competitive within their division.
How to join:
The Atwater Colorguard and Winter Guard programs are open to all students from Atwater High School.
Auditions are typically held in May to determine equipment placement for the upcoming parade season. No prior experience is necessary to join—we welcome all students who are willing to work hard and stay dedicated.
At the end of the parade season, the same process will occur for those interested in participating in our Winter Guard program. Auditions are held in November. Again, no prior experience is required.
We encourage you to take a chance, be part of something special, and showcase your talent with the Atwater Colorguard and Winter Guard. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the team!
