The Atwater High Choir is tailored for any individual having an interest in choral music. Students are taught to emphasize fundamental vocal techniques, harmony comprehension, and music literacy as it relates to choral singing. Rehearsals will take place during the school day, concentrating on a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional to contemporary pieces suited for choral performance. Advanced singers are also greatly encouraged to participate in this ensemble to refine their vocal skills, explore different vocal ranges, or develop conducting abilities.
How to join:
The Atwater Choir program is open to all students from Atwater High School.
Our Choir program is a class period during the school day, so any student with availability in their schedule is able to join. No prior singing experience is required.
We encourage you to take a chance, be part of something special, and showcase your talent with the Atwater High Choir. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the group!
