All students must take and pass one section of Personal Finance in order to be eligible to graduate from any Missouri public school.

Course Description

Personal Finance - ½ credit

This course will introduce students to personal finance. We will watch the Foundations in Personal Finance video series by Dave Ramsey and explore such topics as income, money management, saving, spending, credit, and investing. We will also create a resume’, explore job applications, practice interviewing, and manage a checking account.

This course meets Missouri requirements for graduation.

Pre-Requisites: This class is best suited for juniors and seniors. The perspective and interest level of an upperclassman makes this class much more valuable to them.
