Course Description

A+ Cadet Tutoring ½

This course is designed to help students complete their 50 hours of tutoring required for completion of the A+ program. Students may be placed at a classroom on any of the 4 campuses in the district for one class period for one semester. On the first 2 days of the assigned semester, students will report to the A+ Office during the cadet tutoring period. After all forms are completed and turned in, students will report to their assigned tutoring classroom every day just as they would any class on their schedule. Students must provide their own transportation. Grades will be based primarily on on-time submission of tutoring logs but will also take into account punctuality, dependability, and attendance.

Pre-Requisites: Juniors and Seniors only, please. Rare exceptions may only be made at the discretion of the A+ Coordinator and Counselor.
