Agriculture Program

MVHS is home to a Nationally recognized Agriculture Program. Our FFA program accommodates over 200 students who are exposed to areas such as Floriculture, Ag. Management, Forestry, Conservation, Machining, Animal Science & Green House operations. Students within this program will receive hands-on experience working with animals in our on-site corral, creating detailed metal works with our digital plasma cutting machine, and a variety of other project based learning. Those who wish to compete with our FFA team will receive specialized instruction in public speaking, parliamentary procedure, and a variety of other agricultural competitive areas.
