Professional profile: Gloria Gratacós is an Associate Professor and Director of the Master’s Degree in Educational Management and Leadership at Universidad Villanueva in Madrid (Spain), where she also served as Dean of the Faculty of Education from 2011 to 2020 and led the creation of the Faculty of Psychology, acting as its Dean until 2019. Her academic career began in 2011 after 19 years of experience as a school principal. She has delivered seminars and short courses for school leaders in Australia, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Poland, and Angola, and has been a visiting professor at Monash University (Australia), Universidad del Norte (Colombia), and Barna School (Dominican Republic). Gloria Gratacós has participated in several national and international research projects and is an active member of international research networks such as the FIT-Choice Project, the Staying Brite Network, and the International Study of Teacher Leadership (ISTL). Her research focuses on teacher motivation and resilience, teacher and educational leadership, and attraction to the teaching profession.
