Prior to the MAFLT Program, I received a Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology. Throughout the coursework of the certificate, I learned more innovative ways to incorporate technology into the classroom. There were courses about infusing technology into lesson plans, learning environments, and project-based learning. During one course, I created a website that was designed with the intention for students to take a Spanish class completely online. I did not create a website with a complete curriculum, but rather an introduction to online learning with activities centered around the SAMR Model. The website can be accessed with the link on the right.
As part of receiving my Educational Technology Graduate Certificate, I created activities and lessons using various technology tools and included them here. The first activity used FlipGrid to help students practice introductions in Spanish. The second activity required students to use Canva to create a magazine cover describing a celebrity. And for the third activity, I created a digital breakout using several tools and websites. Within each video, there are some examples of student work.
Additionally, as part of that same certificate, I did some research on project-based learning and wrote two papers on the topic, which I have included here.
