I was born and raised in Mexico, making Spanish my native language. However, I began learning English at the age of four and continued studying it throughout high school. In Mexico, I acquired the theoretical knowledge, grammar, and vocabulary of the English language. In 2007, my family and I made a life-changing decision to move from Mexico to the USA. It was in this total immersion environment that I truly mastered English. However, this significant change prompted me to reevaluate my professional future. Fueled by my passion for the Spanish language and culture, as well as a deep desire to showcase its diversity to the world, I made the courageous decision to transition from architecture to teaching Spanish. After obtaining my Spanish teaching certification, I wasted no time in pursuing my calling and securing a teaching position. I had the privilege of teaching Spanish 1 to eighth-grade students at the Methacton School District for four rewarding years. At the end of this period, I decided to seek a position within the school district where I resided, and fortunately, I was fortunate enough to be selected. Since then, I have been teaching Spanish 1, 2, 4, and AP courses. My job brings me genuine passion, and I derive immense joy from working with students, guiding them on their language learning journey.
