Close caption, Written script, and Glossary on a Video: Effects on Students’ Anxiety, and Complexity, Accuracy, and Fluency
In this work, I researched the anxiety that students feel while watching a video in the target language. Oral information in the form of videos often causes students to feel anxious. The intention of this research paper is to analyze whether the use of technological tools, such as closed captions, written scripts, and a glossary, in a video might help reduce this feeling in the students.
