I am a member of the Vermont Foreign Language Association (VFLA). I have attended VFLA's spring conferences four times and I enjoy participating in the local networking and social events that they have sponsored in the past.
I have also attended a larger regional convention of the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) in New York, as well as two major conventions of our national organization, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). These are all fantastic opportunities for learning and networking to which I hope to return in the near future.
