Master of Arts in Foreign Language Teaching

This fully online degree consists of eight courses for 24 credits plus an Experiential Module project for 5 credits.  I began in May 2020 and will conclude in August 2023.  This coursework focuses on instructed second language acquisition (ISLA), preparing teachers for the practical work of designing curricula, lessons, and assessments that support students’ growth in language proficiency.  Furthermore, we are trained to make decisions based on current research, as well as to thoughtfully integrate technology into the teaching of both language and culture.
