Passionate about Education

As a native speaker of Japanese, I am thrilled to introduce my language and culture to the students in the U.S. I have been blessed that I had many opportunities to work with the students who are very interested in the Japanese language and culture. As an educator, I am so lucky to witness the students between Japan and the US are making a connection and become friends like the picture below.

Timeline

All the career that I have helped my teaching career and being a director

Before I became an educator, I was a sales consultant for one of the biggest private companies which recruited over 4000 Assistant Language Teachers. I was in charge of Kanto region specifically, Tochigi, Saitama and Gunma prefecture. Hiring a teacher, managing their performance, and making a good relationship between the teacher and the school where they are working, arranging the teacher's housing, and other personal issues were my main job description. I did not think this experience would help me as a Director for Summer Intensive Japanese Program.

Language Learning Experience

I learned English as a foreign language for six years through middle school to high school and my English proficiency is business level as I teach at the college in the U.S. since 2016.
