Our goal is to support new educators on a path to success in MSD!
This introduction to MSD is designed for new licensed staff. Our team will support your professional learning with practical and professional practices to support your students' teaching, learning, social-emotional, and academic development. This course is required for first-year probationary educators, and optional for other educators within their first three years at MSD.

ONE CREDIT
Attend required paid PD meetings for new teachers
Mentor check in as needed
TWO CREDITS
Attend required paid PD meetings for new teachers
One-on-one mentor check-in bi-monthly
Complete two informal observation and feedback cycles with your mentor
THREE CREDITS
Attend required paid PD meetings for new teachers
One-on-one mentor check-in on average three times per month
Complete three informal observation and feedback cycles with your mentor
Complete monthly reflection journal with mentor feedback
Engage in a professional reading with your mentor
FOUR CREDITS
Attend required paid PD meetings for new teachers
One-on-one mentor check-in bi-monthly
Complete four informal observation and feedback cycles with your mentor
Complete monthly reflection journal with mentor feedback
Engage in two professional readings with your mentor

Step 2: Seeking tuition reimbursement? Follow the steps below to be pre-approved.
Tuition Reimbursements
If you are requesting Tuition Reimbursement by the district:
Login to your Frontline account and navigate to Frontline Central.
From the Navigation pane on the left side, you can click on “My Forms.”
Select “Forms I can Start.”
Select the “Tuition Reimbursement Form,” and finally,
Fill out “Workflow Step 1 - Employee Section.”
The form will then route to your Supervisor for approval and then the HR Department for verification and approval.
