Fraction strips are a great visual representation for your students to see how numbers relate to one another. These don't require a lot of work and can be a hands on activity for students to help create as an investment in their learning.

Tangrams are a great manipulative to help students visualize and understand fractions. For example two triangles make one square, meaning one triangle is half of a square.

Legos are great to show students that a fraction has two parts. You can use one color and size to represent the numerator and another color and size to represent the denominator, or the whole. With legos it's easy to build a solution to a problem and then start all over again quickly.
Number lines can be used to plot fractions. When first learning how to plot fractions sticking with numbers between 0-1 may be helpful. For example plotting 1/2 on a number line will help students recognize that it's exactly halfway between 0 and 1. Image- (Beckman, 2022).
There are many creative ways to help students visualize fractions, these are just a few. Getting students hands on manipulatives will help make connections and improve their growth in math. My goal as a teacher would be to introduce as many techniques as possible without overwhelming students.
