Ginger Hitchins is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. After teaching and directing preschool in private education for many years, Ginger became interested in Occupational Therapy while experiencing first hand the positive differences Occupational Therapy services often made for the students in her classroom. She received an Associate in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Parkland College, and became a Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in May of 2012. She began working in the Mahomet-Seymour school district in 2014. She enjoys working with the diverse age range in her caseload, which includes students at Lincoln Trail Elementary school and Mahomet Seymour Junior high.
