I am the new physical therapist in the Mahomet-Seymour School District for the 24-25 school year. My family and I moved to Mahomet from Minnesota last summer for my husband’s job, which also brought us closer to family. I have been working as an outpatient pediatric physical therapist at Ivy Rehab for Kids in Champaign since it opened in October.
I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from Marquette University where I also completed my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2013. My career began working with babies and toddlers in early intervention for 4 years in Milwaukee. We then moved to Minnesota where I gained experience working with older children in a mix of acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient physical therapy at Mayo Clinic.
Our family loves spending time outside, although we are still adjusting to the hot summer and lack of snow. In my free time I enjoy hiking, strength training, shopping, and reading. We love the Mahomet community and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with such amazing students, families, and staff this year!
