＊１Cクラスの前学期と同じユニットですが後輩クラスの１Bの作品もなかなかハイクオリティです！

2019年ごろから、Youtubeで「Vlog」(ビデオとブログを合わせた言葉）ビデオを目にすることが多くなりました。2020年、コロナウイルスの影響で一時的に学級閉鎖になった日本の中高生の毎日のルーティンを紹介するVlogがYoutubeに急増！

一年たった今でも完全には登校できず、オンライン授業を受けているコルトンの生徒たちも毎日のルーティンVlog作ってみよう！と言うことで皆頑張って、楽しくVlogビデオを作成しました。

In this unit, students applied their knowledge of Japanese teenagers' popular Youtube genre "My Daily Routine" Vlog, and create their own Vlog. Some of them actually uploaded their Vlog to Youtube!

なんでも話せる人がいますか？辛い時に心の支えになってくれる人がいますか？友達、家族、遠くの親戚、大事なペット、好きなアニメのキャラクター？そんな「私の大切な人」を紹介します。

In this unit, students had an opportunity to think of their close friends/family member/ relatives and described them in detail.

家族にはいろいろな形があります。日本とアメリカを比較したあと、日本の方々に自分の家族を紹介するビデオを作成しました。

In this unit, students explored the changes of family structures in both the United States and Japan, and introduced their family to Japanese people.

「アメリカ人」にどんなイメージがありますか？コルトン中学校には様々な文化背景を持つ生徒がいます。既存の「アメリカ人のステレオタイプ」を覆すかもしれない？生徒たちの自己紹介です。

In this unit, the students learned how stereotypes negatively affect their image. They also learn how to break away from these in order to show how diverse “Americans” are.
