Vision of MTSS-B team
The MTSS-B team is committed to building and sustaining comprehensive, multi-tiered systems that promote positive behavior, engagement, and social-emotional behavioral growth. Through collaboration, prevention, coaching, and data-informed decision-making, we partner with schools to strengthen environments and build staff capacity to create supportive learning environments for all students. Grounded in the belief that behavior is communication and that students do well if they can, we approach our work through a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and solution-oriented lens.

MTSS-B SUPPORT & REFERRAL PROCESS
Once a referral is submitted, the MTSS-B Facilitator will partner with the school team to better understand the concern, gather relevant information and data, and collaborate through a structured problem-solving process. This process may include observation, consultation, action planning, coaching, progress monitoring, and ongoing collaboration to identify supports, strengthen systems, and promote positive outcomes for students and staff.

ACTION PLAN AND REVIEW CYCLE
Our MTSS-B support process uses ongoing 30-day review cycles to monitor implementation, review data, refine supports, and guide decisions around gradually releasing support. As teams build confidence, consistency, and ownership of systems, the MTSS-B team intentionally shifts from intensive coaching toward consultation and maintenance support. This process is flexible and responsive, meaning supports can be intensified again at any time based on data, implementation needs, or building concerns.

GRADUAL RELEASE & FADING PROCESS
The Monitoring, Decision-Making, and Gradual Release of Support process is designed to build sustainable systems through ongoing collaboration, reflection, and data-based decision making. Typically using 30-day review cycles, teams monitor implementation, evaluate student and system data, refine supports, and gradually shift ownership from MTSS-B leads to building teams. As confidence, consistency, and independence increase, support is intentionally faded while remaining responsive and flexible to changing needs.
