Hello Adams' Tigers!
Hello Adams!
The COVID numbers are getting better so it looks like after fall break we will be returning all our Modified In Person (MIP) students to 5 days a week! The only thing that would change this is if the metric suddenly get worse. You can always view those metrics here: https://www.maricopa.gov/5594/School-Metrics
Once MIP students return to 5 days a week that means we will have more students on campus and that dismissal will have twice as many students. For that reason it is SUPER important that you help us ensure dismissal is SAFE and QUICK by following our procedures. We only want students that are being picked up at drive up leaving from the south gate. Students that are being walked home or if a parent parks their car need to be picked up at the southeast gate. This makes it a lot easier for us to get the students we need from the pick up line if we are not having to yell over parents at the south gate. Drive up parents PLEASE have your students name on a paper displayed in your front window to make it easier to quickly identify who is picking up who.
REMINDER: It has given us so much joy to have students on campus again and it is our number one priority to ensure their safety. Thank you families for making sure your child never steps foot on campus if they are experiencing ANY Covid-like symptoms which include: headache, congestion or runny nose, diarrhea, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell, cough, fatigue, muscle or body aches, sore throat, nausea or vomiting and/or chills or fever.
Thank you as always for your support!
Principal Montez
Please have your child practice wearing their mask so they are ready to have it on for extended periods when they return to school!
Census2020
This is a last plea to encourage you to COMPLETE THE CENSUS! The impacts are very real for our community. Not only could Arizona be looking at increased representation in Congress, we need to claim the federal dollars that support the many needs in our community. Complete the Census today and encourage everyone you speak with to do the same - 2020census.gov
Students who are here for Modified In Person are getting library lessons and checking out books again!
