The Math Myth:
The math myth is a myth that goes along the lines of discrimination and racism that some people are math people and others are not. But the truth is that math isn't a thing its not yes or no you are or are not it is to be learned and its not that everyone gets it right away and some people get math faster then others.
the project in math that we did was an example of how we all make mistakes and no one is better then others we are all imperfect and we all make mistakes and fix them. That lesson learned tough us that that class room is a safe mistake classroom.
Math right now is great and i am still learning things each day. A mind set that I could us to improve me is to know I am imperfect.
In geometry quiz #1 we covered topics such as translations, dilations, rotations, and reflections. We also are able to find if the figures are congruent or not.
The grade that I got was a 5/5. That is a meets. There was no exceeds option otherwize i would have done it. I am proud of my grade and I worked hard rechecking my work before submitting and was able to have a great grade.
My goal for my next math quiz is to keep checking my work and continue to grow

and what does that mean?
My overall grade level for math iready is grade 7. Grade 7 means that I am one grade level below 8th grade which is the standard grade level. I am right on target. I am right where I need to be and I am just fine where I am at with math.
In the national norm I am in the 67th percientile and that means that I am smarter than 50 percent of kids in the world. For me that is something to be proud of I am really exited that I am learning even if I am not in exceeratied math.
The domain that I scored the lowest in was measurment and data. I can work to complete this skill in my next iready by working hard and studing so that I can have a better understanding of how to do it. The highest where I scored was in either numbers and operations or geomtry. I am very proud and hope to continue to learn and grow.
By the end of this year I will score into 8th grade and I will do so by studing hard working hard and asking for extententions if and when I finsh other assinments.
