Semester 1:

 Social Studies

In social studies we are learning about the evolution of storytelling which includes so many topics. We did cave art and learned about how our ancestors painted on the ceilings of walls and they used colors from berries. They also used the shapes in the walls to add a sort of 3d structure to it. We also learned about the invention of paper and invention of writing, we learned about the printing press, and oral storytelling. I have been raping all of these togther and were going to have a exhibition shortly on the evolution of storytelling. I think that everything has been going great so far on annotations. I am doing more than expected and I am probably getting better than exceeds. We went on a field trip and we created our own paper from what the other ancestors did. Of course we didn't get anything from outside from trees and other plants but it was sure fun. We do quick writes every morning and sometimes we have quotes but sometimes we have prompts. We also did a project on a story and this story was very important to me and I am very proud of it. Story of the week. Anyway, I love Nancy. She is an amazing teacher.
