What we did in the rock cycle lab was we used starbursts to show the rock cycle. How we did this was first, we cut up a bunch of starbursts to show sediment. Then we showed compaction and sedimentation by squeezing the starbursts in the bag. Next, we showed magma by melting the starbursts in the bag with a hot bowl of water.  Then we let it cool. the cooling led to igneous rock and the starbursts were cold and hard. finely, We used a iron and wacks paper and smashed the starbursts into metamorphic rock. Then the cycle starts again. We cut up the starbursts and etc. 

What I learned in this project was that we can use starbursts to demonstrate the rock cycle and learned a little bit more about metamorphic, ingenious and sedimentary rocks and how they can change onto each other. 

The habits of hear and mind I used in that lab was effort and respect. I used effort because I was able put effort in my work sheet. I was able to show respect because I respected the tools that were given to me. 

One way I can apply this to my future is by being able to know that I can work in a group and work well with my classmates. I can also know that I am able to not just agree with myself but I can agree with other creative ideas and share opportunity's with other classmates.     

What we did in the plate tectonic lab was our teacher assigned us a slid show and we filled out the questions. The questions included watching videos, drawing pictures etc. Before doing the slid show we had done research so that we new how to do the plate tectonic lab. 

A habit of heart and mind I demonstrated in the plate tectonic lab was effort I demonstrated this because I put a lot of attention when we were doing research before the plate tectonic lab.

One way I can apply this to my future is by knowing that I can be independent in my work and really show that I don't have to rely on other people to do my stuff for me. I can also apply it to my future by knowing that I can show what I want to show and know that I can agree with myself.

What we did in our earth rocks exhibition was we got in to groups of three. I got Brooks as my partner and Violet as my other partner. We worked on our exhibition together and created two side shows, Many docs, and a amazing model together. We did our exhibition very successfully and I got a great grade. 

What I learned in this project was that I can learn with other students and let then share what they think and I will express what I think.  

A habit of heart and mind I demonstrated was effort. I put a bunch of effort into my work and worked well with my group. Another habit of heart and mind I demonstrated was refinement. I demonstrated refinement because I checked my work many times before we presented.

One way I can apply this to my future is by maybe have better time management because my partners were all finished and I had three more slides to do. I know I can accomplish this because I can work at home and finish things if I put in the time.
