I worked really hard on this poster and I feel like I really put in the habbit of heart and mind of refinment. Once I drew everything I went over it and added a lot of color.

Ms. Nancy is my homeroom teacher and she is really helping me along my learning journey. Some morable assingments that we have done are annotations, cornel notes, map quizes, vocab, service learing projects and the most fun project we did was our exibition on the silk roads. I created a card game for m y choice bored project and I felt really proud of myself when I competeled it.

This is my math and science teacher who is also helping me improve with math and science. Some of the projects we have done this year include photosyntheis and ceullar resperation. We also did a really memorable unit where we learned about genes and natural selection. I thought that that was super cool.

Hello and welcome to my SLC. My name is Ruthie Robison and I will be giving you an update on how my school year has been going and how I am doing. You might be wondering what a SLC is, well it is a student lead conference so I get to teach you about me and you get my perspective on the school year. The learning purpose of the 7th grade is to show identity. My definition for identity is to be who you are. Some of my goals for identity are to show who I am and to not care what other people think about me. I want others to think of my identity as a hard worker working for good grades and pushes to an exceed.

Dear Future self,
Right now I am 12 years old and in seventh grade. I am still a Ruthie and I love my cat. I love my teachers this year although there is a LOT of homework. I wish that the homework was a little less this year because I am pushing to practice piano a lot more this year. It is difficult to focus on my homework when my little brother turns on the tv. I am also struggling with math right now. It is challenging and I want to push myself to a better level. I enjoy ELA and I currently have no missing assignments and I have exceeded in annotations. I also do soccer right now but it's not the best because I don't really like my coach. I am struggling at the time of day when we do soccer because I don't want to use my brain any more, because I was just in school and I had to think all day. I guess I can't be complaining because I have to use my brian with homework every day after school. Lunch recess is quite boring now because I don't know what to do. There are so many things I have done that none of them are fun any more.

I think that this letter connects to identity because it shows who I am and what I like to do and what I am good at and not good at. It basically screams Identily because identity is who you are, and this letter is who I am right now.
