Student interest groups

In this SIG we are doing Yoga and sometimes we stay inside and play games and work on anything we haven't completed in School.

In this SIG we are learning how to make music on computers and learning all the basics of the app.

In this sig we are, well, reading and Crocheting! we also have 30 minutes at the start to do any homework or unfinished assignments. 

In this SIG we do a bunch of projects and art related things and sometimes we get candy.

oh and yeah, and sometimes we make rat houses.

As you can see by the name, this SIG was all about Ice Skating. When it was SIG time, we would all meet outside the 8th grade doors and get into vans to drive to Chapman Ice Rink. I loved this SIG so much and I'd love to do it again next year.

This SIG, as you can also see, is all about walking. On Wednesdays/Fridays, we would either go walking or we would stay inside and either work on homework/assignments, or we could draw/read. I think one of the best parts of the SIG was getting to bring tea on our walks. I don't know if you've seen me, but normally in the morning I have tea, so getting to drink it twice a day was really cool.

As the name implies, this SIG was all about art and reading. My favorite days were when we would walk to a park or just on the playground and do art in the sun. I also loved it because I got to have another SIG with Mrs. Heidi and I loved that too.

This SIG was where we would sit and do Duolingo and eat food. I will say, this wasn't my favorite SIG because I would rather have it be more active, but I had a lot of fun with my friends.
