What is your definition of Confidence?

My definition of Confidence is that I feel good about what I'm doing and feel proud of myself. I also just think it means that we feel accepted.

What is something that you have confidence in doing?

Like in the picture showing, I feel confident when I'm skiing. When I am skiing I'm really calm and I feel good about what I'm doing. I also feel confident when I am playing tennis because I feel calm and ready every time I play.

How has your confidence developed during your sixth grade year? (Discuss 2 examples, one class related and one personal example)

1. I think one way my confidence has developed during the year is because I started to work a lot harder than I used to and I think that I've grown more confident in my learning over the year so far.

2.I think a way I've grown in confidence personally is last year I wasn't too confident in my biking and lately I've felt better about it. I think I've also challenged myself a lot more in sports such as biking and that's made me feel better about them.

What can challenges or failures teach us about confidence?

I think challenges and failures can teach things about things that could maybe happen again in the future and they teach us to solve problems. They can also sometimes teach you about yourself.
