I can take longer to solve questions and this will help me be more through with my answers and over all have a better learning mindset. Also I have learned that mistakes are important because they help us learn and with this we improve over all for example we did a project were we drew a triangle with all different sides and then cut it out with one cut by folding it in strategic ways. also, I personally, hate math I have always seen it as a one way ticket to hell and self-hatred but even though I am quite good at math I still don't appreciate it. Also the math myth of math person is the false belief that some people are born with the unique ability to be very good at math and some people are not but this myth is not true because this is not supported by any evidence.

In these quizzes we tested about geometry specifically about transformations rotations ,and reflections. And on the 1st quiz I got a 5/5 and on the 2nd quiz I got a 5/5 as well and how I achieved this is I worked really hard to maintain a hard work ethic in order to get great grades on all of my assignments. Also I think a good goal for myself would be to continue my healthy life style of studying and getting stuff done and also maybe asking for extra work and try to move up to advanced math!
In this test we tested on a lot of topics but the main one being angles and rigid transformations. And in this test I got a meets this is a sum of my hard studying and getting work done. And in my work book I got a approaching I don't have a reason for this because I feel I have been studying very hard and if you look at my other grades you can see that so I don't know why I got this grade but I am very disappointed in this grade and I think I can do a lot better. On my math Iready test I did very well and I even had 495 as my original score but I decided to retake the quiz and got a 524 on the 8th grade testing system at the beginning of the school year. Also in the national norm I scored higher and better than 81% of the entire country of people that are in 8th grade. Also in my domains which are basically my subjects in math the best one I tested on was Measurement and data where I got a mid 8th grade level grade but my lowest grade was in algebra and algebraic thinking where I got a early 8th grade level grade. I think a good goal for next time would be to aim for a higher level on algebra and try to do better on all my grades and get a mid level 8th grade grade one way I can do this is by getting help on understanding algebra and doing brain challenging assignments that target algebraic thinking.

In this unit most of what we learned was about was dilation's, similarity, and slope and dilation's are were we take one shape to another using a scale factor for example triangle A have side lengths of 3, 3, and 5 and triangle B has side lengths of 9, 9, and 15 what is the scale factor and I would say 3 also for similarity we determined if two figures were similar depending on angle measures and side lengths like if triangle A has angle measurements of 50 degrees and 30 degrees and triangle B has angle measurements of 30 degrees and 100 degrees we would say they are similar because they have the same angle measures which means they are similar. Also for my unit 2 workbook grade I got a meets and for my unit 2 test grade I also got a meets this is because I paid attention in class and studied for the test with tools like delta math and homework we were assigned. Also I think a good goal for the next unit would be to aim for a meets or exceeds this is because they are both very high grades and I feel I can reach for a exceeds if I try hard enough and it will push me to go higher than before and excel as a learner.

In this quiz most of the content was about how to determine if a point is on a slope or not and how to determine the slope of a line. On this quiz I got a 5/5 or a meet+ and I got this grade because of my hard studying and contribution to my math understanding, I worked really hard on all my work and always complete my homework early and accurately. Most of the test content was about liner and non liner relationships and determining the slope of liner problems that this was shown in lots of different ways for example there are three graphs that show the distance and time of a runner running, which runner is the fastest, and we would say runner three because he can run the farthest in the shortest amount of time. Also for my test I got a meets because I worked really hard and always checked my answers and if I was not sure about something I would give it my best guess and move on. Also I studied a lot and made sure that I knew all the info before the test and even though I got some wrong, I learned from my mistakes and continued. Also for my workbook grade I got meets+ because I finished all my work accurately and I even took on a challenge extension to boost my grade from a meets to a meets+. There were also word problems that required us to pull information from the text to organize the equation to solve the problem. On these quizzes I got a meets on both of them, this is because I paid attention in class and made sure to make good notes so that I could use them during the quizzes. I think that good goal to set for me to be successful in math class would be to ask for help when needed because sometimes I get nervous to ask for help because some people might be disappointed in me or think I'm incompetent but the truth is that everybody needs help sometimes and I need to focus on what I need to know vs what others think.
