Slack is a team communication platform that was designed to replace email. There are channels for each position (e.g. audio, lighting, graphics, etc.) and for each production team (David's, Aliza's, Ian's, Linda's). Our whole Abingdon Production Team is split into four smaller teams led by a volunteer Production Director. Once a quarter these teams will go out together for a movie, put-put, picnic/dinner, etc. these events are coordinated through Slack. You'll get a Slack invitation email after you complete the onboarding process. Once you create your account you'll be added to the appropriate channels.
