Download the app: Visit the App Store on iOS or Google Play Store on Android and search for "TikTok". Download and install the app on your mobile device. Note: TikTok is ideal for mobile devices, not desktop.

Open TikTok: Launch the app by tapping on the TikTok icon on your home screen.Â
Sign up: On the home screen, tap âProfileâ at the bottom right. Select âLog in to TikTokâ to create a new account. Select âContinue with Googleâ. Â
Log in: Follow the prompts on the screen to log into Google using your Mortgage Choice email address.Â
Verify your information: TikTok will send a verification code to your Mortgage Choice email address. Enter the code to continue.Â
Create a password: Choose a strong password for your account to ensure it's secure. (e.g. 12 characters, mix of numbers and symbols, not used on other accounts). Â
Choose a username: You'll be prompted to create a username. Your username should be consistent with all other digital platforms you have created â i.e. Facebook, Instagram and GBP â that follow the correct Mortgage Choice naming conventions. Â
Note: Your username canât be longer than 24 characters and can be managed in your account settings. If your naming conventions are longer than 24 characters, please email us at marketing@mortgagechoice.com.au for guidance on the appropriate TikTok username.Â
Set up your business account: Open your Settings and Privacy page by selecting âEdit profileâ. Â Select âAccountâ and âSwitch to Business Accountâ. Please select âFinance & Insuranceâ as your business category.Â
Add a profile photo: Choose a business headshot or the Mortgage Choice logo.
Edit your username: You can update your username once every 30 days, so choose wisely as it canât be changed back immediately. Your username should be consistent with all other digital platforms you have created â i.e. Facebook, Instagram and GBP â that follow the correct Mortgage Choice naming conventions.Â

Add a bio: Create a short and simple bio that summarises what you do. E.g. Mortgage broker servicing <location> and surrounding areas. Note: Your bio canât be longer than 80 characters.Â
Link to your minisite: Under âLinksâ add your minisite URL to direct traffic towards your page.Â
Adding contact details: Under âAction Buttonsâ, upload your email address, phone number and physical address (if you have a shopfront or branded office).Â
