Campaign Overview:
The "Refer a Friend" incentive is a lead-driving tool to help you generate customer referrals from your existing database. Historically, customer referrals are our highest converting local lead source.
How does the “Refer a friend” campaign work?
When an existing customer refers a friend to you, and that friend successfully settles a loan, you will send the existing customer a gift to say thanks. This campaign can only be advertised to your existing database via a HubSpot email template which the Marketing team will provide to you after you follow the steps on this Marketing Box page. The referred friend must quote the referral was from your email and tell you the full name of the friend that referred them to you in your first appointment. Once the loan settles, you must send a gift to the referee.

To request this campaign – please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Before beginning ensure you have read through the 'important considerations' document.
Step 2: Complete the Google form with all the required information for the Franchise Marketing team.
Step 3: The Marketing team will contact you regarding your campaign request and will arrange the fine print, email template and guidelines so that you can run the campaign compliantly. Please allow 15 working days for all deliverables to be shared with you once the Google form has been completed.
Step 4: Follow the instructions provided by the Marketing team to activate the Refer a Friend Campaign to your existing database.
Step 5: Ensure you are tracking each referrer’s name and email in the Google sheet spreadsheet that has been shared with you.
Step 6: Enter any leads into Broker Platform under the "Referral from Customer" lead source.
Please maintain records of all gifts given or transferred to customers. These records must be producible upon request by Head Office teams, including Marketing, Legal, and Compliance. Head Office reserves the right to audit your campaign to ensure compliance with these rules.
