Use this checklist before every Broker-Managed Email send to maintain accuracy, professionalism and deliver a successful campaign. Following these steps will help you avoid common errors and maximise engagement.
Before sending your first broker-managed email, please ensure you notify the marketing team to check you have set your email up correctly. Email - marketing@mortgagechoice.com.au
Inbox tab
Insert the Subject Line & Preview Text
Check that the ‘From name’ and ‘Email address’ contains your correct contact information
Send to tab
Keep your sending method: To a list of contacts
Select the mandatory Subscription type: Broker invitations and updates
In the Send to field, select the relevant customer list for the type of email you wish to send. Your list should be named per the following example: 'FranchiseX_EmailMarketing_AllContacts'
‘Don’t send to unengaged contacts’ must be UNTICKED
Schedule now or later tab
Choose your desired time to send to your customers
👉 For maximum engagement, avoid sending your email between 9.00pm and 7.00am.
Setup tab
Select Campaign: Broker-Managed Emails
Tick ‘web version’. This will automatically create a web version and URL in your email.
✅Final check before sending
Send yourself a test email to your inbox under ‘Preview and test’
Check:
Does your email have any spelling mistakes?
Are email images displayed correctly in both desktop and mobile?
Does your customer’s first name appear in the test email greeting?
Does your header banner and footer show your broker email address and broker phone number?
Do all email links go to the correct pages?
Does the footer link unsubscribe link go to the right unsubscribe page?
