Unit 3: Educational Technology Project Submission

Overview

In this week, you will focus on wrapping up the milestones identified for your Educational Technology Capstone Project on your implementation plan. Remember to collect as many items as you can to present as evidence in your final report on milestones completed. These can be in the form of planning documents, guides, pictures or web links, and video recordings, if any. Collate your materials and present it in a report format. Use the Capstone project rubric to guide how you write your report.

Performance outcomes

• Candidates will submit the final project implementation report and other evidence of their educational technology project.

What will you do?

1. Review the Educational Technology Capstone Project Rubric and Guidelines document in the Activity Resources.

2. Review the Capstone project submissions from the previous modules where you conducted a technology infrastructure survey, professional development and instructional coaching workshop plans, and the learning design for your educational technology implementation.

3. Write your final report based on the milestones completed as per your educational technology implementation plan. Specifically include in the report:

   • How has each capstone activity contributed towards your final submission?

   • How did your statistical research and literature review play a role in informing useful modifications to your technology implementation plan?

   • What successes and challenges did you encounter during the technology project implementation by milestone completed?

   • What changes would you make to the learning design or the technology implementation plan going forward based on your findings, peer/instructor feedback and experience from this project?

   • What are the next steps or recommendations to the school or district for whom you planned the educational technology solution and implementation?
