How to deal with accompanying media--before exporting the record to Alma
In Connexion, change the bib record as follows:
Add 006 field [using edit, guided entry 006 visual materials: type=g for projected medium record; time=--- unless, if known, in which case, record in minutes rounded up to the nearest minute; tmat=v for type of material; tech=insert appropriate code for technique of motion (usually n for no motion or u for unknown]
Add 655_0 dvds.
Add 655_0 dvd-video-discs.
Add additional 852 8_ nnmoma ǂh dv-[next sequential number for dvds]
Add additional 952 8_ nnmoma ǂh dv-[next sequential number for dvds
Or 852 8_ nnmoma ǂh cs0 … [next sequential number for videocassettes]
Or 952 8_ nnmoma ǂh cs0 … [next sequential number for videocassettes]
Update record as follows:

Since there would be now more than a single 852 field, each item, upon export will show both call numbers. Make the necessary deletions based on the medium.
**how to deal with accompanying media--if bibliographic record was exported to Alma without the creation of item records to accommodate the accompanying media.
If bibliographic record has been exported to Alma, make sure that the master record reflects the presence of accompanying media (006, 655s, etc). If not, consult with cataloger.
Add new holdings record. Use the following locs for the following types of material. And then attach inventory item record to those holdings
Video recordings: mqv
Audio recordings: mqu
Cd-roms: mqh
Call numbers for video recordings:
