How Do We Teach at YISS?

To support holistic learning of our students and to enable them to draw connections in their learning across subjects, time and space, our school adopts the Parallel Curriculum Model to design our lessons.


There are four components in this model and they can be used individually or combined, depending on the learning objectives and experience for our students. The four components and how they can help address our students’ needs as learners are shown in the illustration below.
