From 2023-2025, I was tasked to design our school’s Tier 2 Applied Learning Programme, focusing on environmental sustainability under MOE’s Eco Stewardship Initiative.
We adopted the Design for Change (FIDS: Feel–Imagine–Do–Share) framework to empower students to think critically about real-world issues and take meaningful action.
Learning Framework:
Feel: Develop empathy through observing and discussing environmental issues.
Imagine: Brainstorm creative, sustainable solutions.
Do: Prototype ideas using digital fabrication and coding.
Share: Present to peers and school community.
🌎 Integration with Art & Maker Mindset: Students applied design thinking and creativity to solve authentic sustainability challenges through both aesthetic and functional design.
