Implement when a student:

• shows signs of frustration/restlessness

• Implement when a student is showing signs of disruption

Strategies:

1. Give yourself opportunities to walk around the classroom – e.g. vary teaching methods to allow you to walk around

2. When giving directions, maintain proximity to at-risk students

3. Place student close to you in seating arrangements

4. Place student at teacher’s table when doing class assignments/watching videos

5. Assign student to be a teacher assistant (e.g. counting worksheets/packing teacher’s table)
