All students will be guided by their form teachers in the planning, collaboration, execution and reflection of Values in Action (VIA) experiences as part of the Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) curriculum in their secondary school journey. This guidance will move from teacher-facilitated experiences in the lower-secondary classrooms to more student-led ones in the upper-secondary classrooms.
In addition, there will be opportunities for students to go above and beyond the planned VIA experience in the CCE curriculum, such as in their CCAs, student leadership opportunities in the Student Union, as well as ad-hoc projects that the students want to undertake throughout their time with us in CTSS.
As with all schools in Singapore, students will undergo Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) lessons that cover Values Education, Cyberwellness, Sexuality Education, National Education, Family Education, and Career Guidance.
To develop the students' awareness of global and local issues, the teachers will focus on lessons regarding contemporary issues, where the students will be encouraged to develop healthy perspective-taking skills.
The added feature in CTSS’ CCE lessons is the Highly Effective Youths (HEY) curriculum. The school believes in ‘taught and caught’ character education, and the students will be guided to develop the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Youths. These lessons will be reinforced through their Co-Curricular Activity and Values-in-Action (VIA) projects. The school aims to prepare the students to be caring and concerned citizens, ready for the challenges of the unpredictable world.

The Clementeen Experience is our signature values-based developmental journey. Each level focuses on a core school value and students take part in student development programmes such as Grit Fest, Differently Abled Sports, School Carnival and Values-in-Action projects. Through these authentic, hands-on experiences, Clementeens learn to live out the values they explore each year, growing into compassionate, resilient, and responsible individuals ready to contribute to their community.
